- Optional off-campus activities and various weekend activities such as for example: Biennale di Venezia, Salone del Mobile di Milano, Opera theater performances, hotel accommodation, yacht excursions.

- Tech support or electronic equipment repairs are billed separately.
- Dry cleaning
- Special services such as private instruction or transportation to the airport or train stations for private weekends are billed separately.

Student life and campus services
ACTIVITIES
Accademia XXI provides a rich program of arts and cultural excursions, outdoor adventures, and community initiatives. Occasionally, the Accademia XXI is able to cover the expenses associated with these activities. However, in certain instances, families will be responsible for costs related to transportation, admission, accommodation, special equipment, and other necessary expenses. Our staff will typically provide an estimated cost when announcing each opportunity.
TRANSPORTATION
To facilitate student travel, Accademia XXI offers transportation to and from local airports. This service is arranged through the Secretariat and requires a minimum of seven days’ advance notice for scheduling. Please contact our Secretariat to learn about its costs.
LAUNDRY
Accademia XXI provides complimentary laundry and ironing services for students, in accordance with the established rules and regulations of the residence. This service is designed to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of everyday clothing items.
For special garments requiring dry cleaning, such as delicate fabrics, suits, or items with specific care instructions, Accademia XXI will arrange for professional dry cleaning services. Prior to processing, an estimated cost for the dry cleaning will be provided to the student or their family for approval. The final dry cleaning charges will be billed separately.
LAPTOPS, BOOKS, SPORTS EQUIPMENT
Students are expected to bring their own personal laptops, telephones, or any other electronic devices they routinely use for academic and personal purposes. While the Accademia XXI library offers a comprehensive selection of books for consultation, students wishing to purchase specific titles from course bibliographies will be responsible for those costs. Regarding sports equipment, standard equipment is provided for most activities. However, for certain specialized activities, such as tennis, students will be required to provide their own equipment, including tennis rackets and appropriate clay court shoes. Similarly, for sea activities, students may choose to bring their own wetsuits if they prefer, and are required to bring appropriate boat shoes.

Medical insurance and student Visas
Medical insurance
Accademia XXI requires all students to maintain adequate medical insurance that provides coverage within Italy, as well as repatriation insurance. This ensures students have access to necessary medical care.
Visas
Students are responsible for obtaining their own student visas for Italy. However, Accademia XXI is committed to supporting students throughout this process. For comprehensive assistance, students are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office. Accademia XXI will provide all necessary documentation required for visa application and will be available to guide students through each step.
What to bring
To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, please make sure to bring the following items.
Clothing

Sportswear: comfortable athletic clothing suitable for various activities such as yoga, tennis, and other sports. Proper footwear, including tennis shoes, golf shoes, and boat shoes, is also recommended.
- Swimwear: bathing suits, flip-flops, and any accessories needed for the pool or the beach.
Formal attire
- Men: black tie and dark suit for formal events, including the opera night.
- Women: cocktail dresses and long evening gowns for formal occasions.
Electronics
Any necessary electronic devices such as laptops, tablets, and chargers to support academic and personal needs.
